Artigiano in Fiera 2014

Like every year, I went to the craft fair of Milan. I went there two times, last Friday wandering randomly with with my father and on Monday visiting it all well with my boyfriend.
In the end I did not see big news. By now the format and the stalls are pretty much always the same.
Going late I was not able to find a few things that I wanted (sweaters for my mother and truffle gorgonzola cream) because the first time I didn't visit it well and the second, being the last day, many things were sold out.

Of the new (or at least, of the that I had never noticed before) things, what I liked th most were the lavender scented plushes in the Provence department. There were bears and bunnies and they were all soft and fragrant, although they remembered me eerily of the bear Lotso from Toy Story 3. It was hard to restrain myself from buying one!

As for tested, but always very welcome, participations, the Scottish band Saor Patrol, complete with kilt, crests, beards and bagpipes, played this year too.

There was also the stand of my beloved Ester Bijoux, that makes (very mori) jewelry using authentic plant parts (leaves, seeds, flowers) and recently also animal parts (shells and starfish).

One of the highlights of the fair is always the food, that is a lot and delicious. If you wanted to go to split hairs over it, in addition to costing a lot, despite the claims of superior quality, it often contains flavorings and not really high level ingredients. But I'm a lout and every time I enjoy it a lot, you will see it in the next post where I'll tell you what I ate and bought this year!
