Shopping di giugno/June shopping

A giugno ho veramente esagerato con gli acquisti.

Ho preso libri illustrati e fumetti molto belli "Maria Antonietta: La gioventù di una regina" di Fuyumi Soryo (7€) edito dalla Star Comics e allo stand della Lavieri, ad una fiera del fumetto a Vignola, "La città delle cose dimenticate" di Frezzato e due cartoline con illustrazioni sempre di Frezzato (16,5€).

In June I really did too many purchases.

I book beautiful illustrated books and comics "Marie Antoinette ~ The Youth of A Queen" by Fuyumi Soryo (7€) published by Star Comics and at the Lavieri stand of  a cartoon fair in Vignola, "La città delle cose dimenticate" (The city of forgotten things) by Frezzato and two postcards with illustrations by Frezzato (16.5€).

Sempre a Vignola ho comprato due quaderni  di diverse dimensioni in super sconto con fogli bianchi di ottima qualità e copertine stilosissime, una con posate chiusa da un elastico e una con dei pesci. Ho speso poco più di 6€. Ho anche approfittato di un'occasione (5€ al posto di 10) per comprare le sfumature di giallo (le ultime avanzate) dei Gelatos della Faber Castell, dei pastelli acquerellabili.

Also in Vignola I bought two notebooks of different sizes in super discount with white paper of excellent quality and very stylish covers, one with cutlery closed by a rubber band and one with fishes. I spent a little over 6€. I also took advantage a really good discount (5€ instead of 10) to buy the shades of yellow (the only ones left) of the Gelatos by Faber Castell, watercolor pastels.

Questo mese ho comprato anche due paia di orecchini: un paio con il lobo a stella e delle stelle pendenti collegate al gancio posteriore (6€) e un paio a forma di stella marina picchiettate di finti turchesi.

This month I also bought two pairs of earrings: a pair with a star-shaped lobe and hanging stars connected to the back hook (6€) and a starfish pair embroidered with faux turquoise stones.

Da Mango non prendo mai niente, ma stavolta ho preso tre magliette di cotone con delle stampe bellissime, bianca a righine blu con omini che nuotano, arancione con teste di volpe geometriche e rosa polvere con sagome di dinosauri. Ognuna è costata 6€.

I never buy anything from Mango, but this time I bought three cotton T-shirts with beautiful prints, white with thin blue stripes with swimming men, orange with geometric fox heads and powder pink with dinosaur shapes. Each costed 6€.

Da Essence ho anche preso dei trucchi: uno smalto top coat che brilla al buio che non vedo l'ora di provare a 2,49€, il lucidalabbra effetto olografico holo wow! nel colore 03 scarab wings, prugna con iridescenza blu, a 3,56€ e le goccine asciugasmalto a 2€.

From Essence I also bought some make up: a top coat polish that shines in the dark that I can not wait to try  for 2.49€, the holographic effect lip gloss holo wow! in the color 03 scarab wings, plum with blue iridescence, for 3.56€ and fast dryings drops for nail polish for 2€.

La mia amica V-chan mi ha fatto un mega regalo di compleanno: il libro "Cambio pelle in 7 passi" di Lucia Cuffaro che spiega come prendersi cura del corpo in maniera naturale e un portachiavi dettagliatissimo di Chibiusa, una penna-anello di Sailor Mercury, un portamine con dei coniglietti, delle gommine, dei post-it dei Little Twin Stars e un mini astuccio Disney Tsum Tsum.

My friend V-chan gave me a big birthday present: Lucia Cuffaro's "Cambio pelle in 7 passi" which explains how to take care of your body in a natural way, a very detailed keychain of Chibiusa, a Sailor Mercury pen-ring, a box of pencil leads with little bunnies, eraser, Little Twin Stars post-its and a Disney Tsum Tsum mini-pouch.

La mia amica Prociona è venuta a trovarmi dal Regno Unito e mi ha portato i buonissimi crackers integrali alla cipolla dolce Ryvita, una composta di melassa e sumac della Creative Cook e dei crumpets della Warburtons.

My friend, Prociona, came to visit me from the United Kingdom and brought me delicious sweet onion wholemeal crackers by Ryvita, a mixture of molasses and sumac by Creative Cook and crumpets from Warburtons.

Questo Maggio è stato splendido, anche se il clima è sempre più tropicale. E' arrivata la frutta che mi piace di più e mi sono abbuffata di ciliegie e delle prime albicocche.

Fra il lavoro, i progetti in corso con il mio collettivo di fumettisti e vari lavoretti extra ho dedicato pochissimo tempo a questo blog, ma sono ancora decisa a non lasciarlo morire.

This May was beautiful, even if the climate is more and more tropical. It is the period of the fruit I like most is and I ate a lot of cherries and the first apricots.

Among my work, the ongoing projects with my cartoonists collective and various extra jobs, I spent very little time on this blog, but I'm still determined not to let it die

Ho partecipato in maniera un po'incostante a Marmay, la sfida di disegnare una sirena per ogni giorno di maggio. I miei temi principali sono stati Sailor Moon e animali di vario genere in versione sirena (trovate tutto su @mentaconiglio).

I participated a bit inconsistently to Marmay, the challenge of drawing a marmaid for every day of May. My main themes were Sailor Moon and animals of various kinds in a marmaid version (you can find them all on @mentaconiglio).

A inizio mese, approfittando di un miracoloso giorno di ferie, sono andata a Genova ospite della mia amica RagazzAcidella.

Il primo giorno siamo andate a Camogli e San Fruttuoso, il secondo giorno abbiamo girato a Genova, mangiato nel miglior ristorante Messicano italiano finora e fatto shopping.

At the beginning of the month, taking advantage of a miraculous day of vacation, I went to Genoa hosted by my friend RagazzAcidella.

The first day we went to Camogli and San Fruttuoso, the second day we traveled to Genoa, ate in the best Italian Mexican restaurant so far and went shopping.

Poi ho partecipato con il mio gruppo di autoproduzione a fumetti,  Cargo, all'AFA (Autoproduzioni Fichissime Anderground), il festival dell'autoproduzione che si tiene allo spazio pubblico autogestito Leoncavallo di Milano, dove ho fatto vari acquisti e ricevuto un sacco di regali.

Then I participated with my group of cartoonists, Cargo, to AFA (Autoproduzioni Fichissime Anderground), the self-production festival held by the self-managed public space Leoncavallo of Milan, where I made several purchases and received a lot of gifts.

Questo mese, con la scusa di una comunione ho fatto una bella gita a Bologna con la Pelosa Metà e la sua famiglia.

This month, with the excuse of a first communion I did a nice trip to Bologna with the Hairy Half and his family.

Il 20 maggio io e la Pelosa Metà abbiamo festeggiato il nostro primo anniversario di matrimonio (che impressione, è passato già un anno). Siamo andati al mare, ci siamo rilassati, abbuffati e abbiamo fatto i primi bagni dell'anno.

On May 20, the Hairy Half and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary (it has already been a year!). We went to the seaside, relaxed, ate a lot and swam for the first time this year.

A fine mese sono andata ad una conferenza molto interessante sul Giappone in Italia al Mudec e ho finalmente incontrato un'amica che non vedevo da mesi che mi ha fatto un regalo di compleanno super nerd e carinissimo.

At the end of the month I went to a very interesting conference about Japan in Italy at Mudec and I finally met a friend I had not seen for months who gave me a super nerd and cute birthday present.

Questo mese ho anche ricominciato a giocare di ruolo, stavolta online con amici diversi. Nel disegno, il mio personaggio.

This month I also started role-playing again, this time online, with different friends. In the drawing, my character.

Per quanto riguarda lo shopping, con la scusa di prendere qualche vestito estivo adatto all'ufficio e aggiungendo Genova e la fiera del fumetto, ho un po' esagerato.

As for shopping, with the excuse of buying some summer dress suitable for the office and with Genoa and the comic fair, I exaggerated a bit.

La mia dieta ha cominciato ad andare bene, ho perso un paio di chili.

Ho sperimentato un pochino in cucina (nella foto una pasta al curry rosso e latte di cocco con menta che posterò prossimamente).

My diet started to go well, I lost a couple of kilos.

I experienced a little bit in the kitchen (in the picture a red curry and coconut milk pasta with mint that I will post soon).

Sono tornata in un paio di ristoranti che mi piacciono e ho provato nuovi piatti: alla Bottega del Ramen ho provato l'ottimo ramen estivo e da Lievità la pizza cosacca che è una bomba.

Ho anche finalmente provato Ghe Sem, un ristorante milanese che fa ravioli cinesi ripieni in stile italiano, niente male (prossimamente la recensione).

I went back to a couple of restaurants that I like and I tried new dishes: at Bottega del Ramen I tried the excellent summer ramen and at Lievità the cossack pizza which was a bomb.

I also finally tried Ghe Sem, a Milan restaurant that does Chinese ravioli stuffed Italian style, not bad at all (soon the review).

Summer at the office (an excuse to go shopping)

Con l'arrivo del caldo, ho iniziato a preoccuparmi su come vestirmi in ufficio. Anche se avevo già qualcosa di adatto, il mio look estivo standard è a base di pantaloncini, così ho deciso di fare un giro al mercato di Papiniano.

Per prima cosa ho comprato due sciarpine, una grigio chiaro a pois e una bianca con disegni tropicali rosa a 1€ ciascuna.

With the arrive of the heat, I started worrying about how to dress at the office. Even though I already had something suitable, my standard summer look is based on shorts, so I decided to go to Papiniano street market.

First I bought two scarves, one light gray with polka dots and one white with pink tropical designs for 1€ each.

Su varie bancarelle dell'usato ho comprato: una camicia di Bershka color menta con una fantasia a ghiaccioli a 5€, un bellissimo vestito arancione (che potrebbe risolvermi un matrimonio) a 3€ e una gonna rosa vintage a 5€.

On various second-hand stalls I bought: a mint-colored Bershka shirt with an icicles for 5€, a beautiful orange dress (which I think I may use for a wedding) for 3€ and a pink vintage skirt for 5€.

Sono passata anche al mercato di via Ampère dove forse ho fatto gli acquisti più utili: un paio di pantaloni lunghi a vita alta, neri, di cotone, con una assurda fantasia a rose e vasi cinesi, e un paio di culottes a righe nere, bianche e beige (15€ per entrambi).

I also went to the Via Ampère market where I could have made the most useful purchases: a pair of long-waisted trousers, black, of cotton, with an absurd fantasy of roses and Chinese vases, and a pair of black striped culottes, white and beige (€ 15 for both).

Ancora una volta non ho resistito ai calzini da uomo di H&M, ne ho comprati un paio blu con una fantasia a gamberetti, un paio neri con una fantasia a gamberi e un paio blu con una fantasia ad arance. In tutto ho pagato 6€.

Da H&M ho preso anche un vestito blu elettrico probabilmente inadatto all'ufficio, ma molto carino a 10€.

Once again I could not resist H&M men's socks, I bought a blue pair with a shrimp pattern, a black pair with a prawn pattern and a blue pair with an orange pattern.

There I also got an electric blue dress for 10€ probably unsuitable for the office, but very nice.

Ho fatto grandi acquisti anche al Lidl: noccioline al wasabi, soba, pita greca all'aglio e coriandolo, lassi indiano al mango e a cocco e ananas, e due trucchi in edizione limitata estiva: un rossetto e un mascara waterproof. Pita e lassi sono stati una bella scoperta. In un negozio etnico poi ho comprato del favoloso curry rosso e un olio per capelli al gelsomino.

I also made big purchases at Lidl: wasabi peanuts, soba, greek garlic and coriander pita, mango and coconut and pineapple lassi, and two pieces of the limited edition summer make up: a lipstick and a waterproof mascara. Pita and lassi were a nice discovery. In an ethnic shop I bought a fabulous red curry and jasmine hair oil.

Genova

La seconda giornata che ho passato a Genova, ospite della mia amica RagazzAcidella è cominciata con una brioche al cioccolato bianco in un baretto sul mare. Genova segna punti rispetto a Milano, ma mi consolo pensando che almeno la mia città ha tantissimi ristoranti etnici buonissimi.

The second day I spent in Genoa, guest of my friend RagazzAcidella, started with a white chocolate croissant in a small bar on the sea. Genoa scores points compared to Milan, but I comfort myself thinking that at least my city has plenty of very good ethnic restaurants.

E invece anche su questo subisco una sconfitta umiliante. RagazzAcidella mi ha portato nel ristorante messicano più buono in cui io sia stata in Italia, Mamacita's, in via Fieschi 78r, nei vicoletti di Genova un po' malfamati di cui cantava De Andrè, dove ho ritrovato i sapori del mio viaggio in Messico.

L'interno ha pareti, piastrelle, piatti, bandiere, lampade e oggetti coloratissimi.

But on this, too, I suffer a humiliating defeat. RagazzAcidella took me to the best Mexican restaurant I ate to in Italy, Mamacita's, in via Fieschi 78r, in the somewhat dodgy streets of Genoa of which sang De Andrè, where I rediscovered the flavors of my trip to Mexico.

The interior has colorful walls, tiles, plates, flags, lamps and objects.

Il menù è una sorpresa sia per la varietà sia per i prezzi ridicolmente bassi. Abbiamo preso nachos (quelli veri!) con guacamole, ci siamo divise una quesadillas gigante servita con cinque salse diverse, abbiamo preso un burrito ai fagioli e ben due tacos chorizo queso che erano buoni da svenire e ci hanno portato anche ulteriori fagioli con nachos. Da bere abbiamo diviso una caraffa di sangria.

Abbiamo concluso con il cafe de cholla, leggero, speziato e servito in vasellame di terracotta e ci è stato anche offerta una tequila fantastica.

Mangiando come dei maiali abbiamo speso meno di 15€ a testa!

Credo che andrò in pellegrinaggio a Genova solo per tornarci.

The menu is a surprise both for the variety and for the ridiculously low prices. We ate nachos (the real ones!) with guacamole, a giant quesadillas served with five different sauces, a bean burrito and two queso chorizo ​​tacos that were breathtakingly good and more beans with nachos. We also shared a carafe of sangria to drink.

We ended with cafe de cholla, light, spicy and served in earthenware pots and we were also offered a fantastic tequila.

Eating like pigs we spent less than 15€ each!

I think I will go back to Genoa on a pilgrimage just to eat there again.

Il pomeriggio abbiamo fatto un giro in centro città. Ho osservato diversi lavori a piastrelle, quelli più tradizionali e quelli dello street artist genovese Tiler.

In the afternoon strolled in the city center. I saw different tile works, more traditional ones and those of the Genoese street artist Tiler.

Sono anche finalmente riuscita ad entrare nella cattedrale di San Lorenzo. Mi hanno colpito soprattutto l'affresco della controfacciata (XIV secolo), l'affresco di Lazzaro Tavarone con l'ultima cena nella navata destra e, soprattutto, la bomba che ha colpito la cattedrale durante la seconda guerra mondiale, senza esplodere.

I also finally managed to enter the San Lorenzo cathedral. I was particularly struck by the fresco of the counter-façade (14th century), the fresco by Lazzaro Tavarone with the last supper in the right aisle and, above all, the bomb that hit the cathedral during the Second World War, without exploding.

Durante il mio giro di shopping ho comprato una maschera viso bio al cioccolato e fango della 7th Heaven (2€ circa). Il profumo è ottimo e con una bustina ho fatto due applicazioni (ma con un dosaggio più mirato sarei riuscita a farne almeno una terza). Dopo averla usata ho sentito la pelle un po' più morbida, ma non ho notato altri benefici particolari.

Nello stesso negozio ho comprato per 5€ circa una manopola depilatoria con vari foglietti perché mi servivano i ricambi per la mia e non erano in vendita senza manopola.

In un negozietto etnico ho comprato delle lungta, le bandiere da preghiera tibetane. Poi ho visto nella vetrina di una merceria dei bottoni coloratissimi a forma di coniglietto e li ho assolutamente voluti (1€ ciascuno).

L'acquisto forse più bello, ma meno tipico è stato un paio di orecchini color ottanio con le nappine da Bershka (8€).

During my shopping trip I bought a 7th Heaven organic chocolate and mud face mask (around 2€). The perfume is great and with a bag I did two applications (but with a more calculated dosage I would have managed to do at least a third). After using it I felt my skin a little softer, but I did not notice any other special benefits.

In the same store I bought for about 5€ a depilatory mitten with various sandpaper sheets because I needed spare sheets for mine and they were not for sale without the mitten.

In an ethnic shop I bought lungta, Tibetan prayer flags. Then I saw in the window of a haberdashery colorful bunny buttons and I absolutely wanted them (€ 1 each).

Perhaps the most beautiful, but less typical, purchase was a pair of teal-colored earrings with tassels by Bershka (8€).

Come souvenir per la mia Pelosa Metà, prima di partire ho comprato il pesto della Novella e la focaccia della panetteria "Da Mario" in Salita S. Paolo 28.

I weekend con RagazzAcidella sono sempre fantastici, non vedo l'ora di ripetere!

The weekends with RagazzAcidella are always fantastic, I can not wait to have another one!
