Questa domenica sono finalmente riuscita a farmi portare da Il Centro, il nuovo gigantesco centro commerciale che ha aperto ad Arese.

Il mio obbiettivo era Primark (il primo negozio italiano si trova lì), ma ne ho approfittato per fare un giro più ampio (non completo, visto che Il Centro è gigantesco).

Mi aspettavo una struttura in ferro e vetro, quindi mi ha sorpreso l'esterno dall'apparenza calda, con infissi in legno. Mi hanno colpito anche altri particolari, come i giochi per bambini in varie aree, fra cui i più carini erano i dinosauri a molla e gli animali di pelouche a rotelle fatti in modo da essere usati dai genitori per portare a spasso i figli.

This Sunday I was finally able to convince a victim to bring me to Il centro, the new giant shopping mall that opened in Arese, near Milan.

My goal was Primark (the first italian shop is located there), but I took the opportunity to make a more extensive tour (not complete, since it is a gigantic mall).

I expected an iron and glass structure, so the warm looking exterior with wood detalis surprised me. I also liked other things, such as the games for children in various areas. The cutest were the spring dinosaurs and the plush animals with wheels made to be used by parents to carry their children.

Può sembrare bizzarro, ma mi sono piaciute molto anche le decorazioni di bagni e fasciatoi.

It may sound weird, but I loved the bathrooms and changing rooms decorations too.

Fra i vari negozi sono stata anche al Disney Store. Avrei voluto qualche gadget di Zootropolis, ma erano avanzati solo pelouche. Mi sono piaciuti molto i pelouche ovoidali di personaggi classici come Dumbo e Paperino.

Anche da Tally Weijl non ho preso niente, però mi è piaciuta molto la decorazione del negozio a coniglietti.

Among the various shops I went to Disney Store. I wanted some Zootropolis gadget, but there were only plushies left. I liked the oval plushies of classic characters such as Dumbo and Donald Duck.

I didn't buy anything at Tally Weijl too, but I really liked the bunnies shop decoration.

Da Primark ho trovato varie cose interessanti o divertenti, come i pigiamoni da Pokémon.

Ho provato dei pantaloni di tessuto spesso e fantasia classica in saldo a 7€, ma non solo erano della taglia sbagliata, ma anche con un poco affascinante taglio a pannolone.

At Primark I found several interesting or funny things, like the Pokémon pijamas.

I tried trousers made of thick material with a classic patterno on sale for € 7, but not only they were the wrong size, but also with an unglamorous diaper-like cut.

Nonostante fossi andata apposta durante i saldi, ho finito per comprare solo cose a prezzo pieno: due elastici per capelli a righe con fiocco a 2€, una BB cream (stavolta credo di aver azzeccato il colore, spero che funzioni) a 4€, un ombrello molto piccolo e leggero a 5€ e soprattutto un favoloso pigiama con le balene a 10€.

Ho preso anche dei regalini per alcuni amici, ma quelli, ovviamente, non li posso mostrare.

Although I went there during the sales on purpose, I ended up buying only full priced things: two striped scrunchies with bows for 2€, a BB cream (this time I think I guessed the right color, I hope it works) for 4€, a very small and lightweight umbrella for 5€ and above all a fabulous whales pajamas for 10€.

I also bought gifts for some friends, but of course I can't show them.

Da Intimissimi ho comprato in saldo delle mutande in pizzo color pesca a poco più di 5€.

At Intimissimi I bought peach lace panties on sale for just over 5 €.

Da Piazza Italia ho trovato a 10€ in saldo gli stivali neri che cercavo, quasi identici a quelli che devo buttare perché mi si sono rovinati.

At Piazza Italia I found on sale for 10€ the blacks boots I was looking for, almost identical to those that I have to throw away because they are ruined.

Da Tiger ho ricomprato gli acrilici che stavo finendo (3€) e dei pennarelli in sfumature di grigio che i miei amici fumettisti mi dicono essere come i Pantone, ma ad un prezzo molto inferiore (3 per 3€).

At Tiger I bought back the acrylics that I was finishing (3€) and three pens in shades of gray that my comic artists friends tell me are like Pantone, but at a much lower price (3€).

Sperando di approfittare degli ultimi saldi, sono andata anche da Decathlon a Milano a comprare del materiale per lavorare all'aperto in inverno. Ho preso una maglietta termica di quelle della Wed'ze, che costano poco (6€) e funzionano bene (me ne ero fatte prestare due per un lavoro). Poi ho preso una borraccia turchese da 0,4l della Quechua a 8€.

E adesso sono spudoratamente povera e sarà meglio che me ne stia buona per un po' (anche se devo ancora comprare giacca e accessori per un evento importante che si terrà fra qualche mese).

Hoping to take advantage of the sales, I also went to Decathlon in Milan to buy material to work outdoors in winter. I took a thermal shirt by Wed'ze, which was cheap (6 €) and work well (I know because I was lended two for a job). Then I bought a turquoise 0,4l thermos by Quechua for 8 €.

And now I'm shamelessly poor and will have better to be quiet for a while (although I have yet to buy a jacket and some accessories for an important event I'm going to attend in a few months).

Regali di compleanno dagli amici/Friend's birthday presents

Dopo tanti accenni e allusioni, ecco finalmente i regali che ho ricevuto dai miei amici alla festa.

Questo è stato un anno particolarmente fortunato perché non solo non ho ricevuto nessun regalo che non mi piacesse, ma addirittura tutti i regali mi piacciono un sacco!!!

Ade mi ha regalato ben due dei libri di Jill Barklem che avevo puntato *_* I disegni sono favolosi e non vedo l'ora di leggere le storie!

After so many hints and allusions, here are finally the gifts I received from my friends at the party.

This year has been a particularly lucky one because not only I didn't receive any gift that I did not like, but I even like a lot all the gifts!

Ade gave me two books by Beatrix Potter that I wanted *_* The drawings are fabulous and I can not wait to read the stories!

Lilith, dato che l'ultima volta che ci siamo viste ho comprato un filtro da Tiger, mi ha regalato un quartetto di tè proprio di Tiger che oltre ad avere scatoline bellissime sembrano anche molto buoni!

Visto che desideravo tantissimo provarla, mi ha anche regalato un campioncino di BB cream. Stupidamente non l'ho usata subito, per cui sono in attesa di un'occasione speciale per metterla.

Lilith since the last time we met I bought a filter by Tiger, gave me a quartet of teas precisely by Tiger that as well as having beautiful boxes also seem very good!

Since I really wanted to try it, she also gave a sample of BB cream. Stupidly I didn't use it immediately, so I'm waiting for a special occasion to try it.

Jules per Natale (non ci vedevamo da un po') mi ha regalato delle stupende calze pelosette e cuoriciose col musino da renna. Questo è stato l'anno delle calze carine di Oysho, ne ho ricevuto un altro paio e ne ho viste regalare altre ancora.

Per il compleanno invece mi ha regalato dei bellissimi orecchini di Camomilla a forma di giraffs azzurre.

Jules for Christmas (we hadn't met for a while) gave me some wonderful fluffy hearty socks with reindeer snout and horns. This was the year of cute socks by Oysho, I've recieved two pairs of them, and I've seen more given to other people.

For my birthday instead she gave me a pair of beautiful earrings by Camomilla in the shape of blue giraffes.

La mia amica E. per Natale mi ha regalato un paio di guanti di Piazza Italia e un libro, "Il cuore selvatico del ginepro" di Vanessa Roggeri, che parla di paesi sarde e streghe. Per il mio compleanno, da vera amante della cucina mi ha regalato una paletta di legno molto bella e un wok! Finalmente potrò cucinare il pad thai come si deve!

My friend E. For Christmas gave me a pair of gloves by Piazza Italia and a book, "Il cuore selvatico del ginepro" (The wild heart of the juniper) by Vanessa Roggeri, which speaks of Sardinia's country life and witches. For my birthday, being a true lover of cooking, she gave me a wooden spoon and a very nice wok! Finally I can cook pad thai as it should be!

Il mio ex maestro di karate e attuale fidanzato della Prociona mi ha regalato un albo vintage di Batman! Acalia sarà gelosa XD

La Prociona invece, in un pacchetto pieno di adesivi a dinosauro *_*, mi ha regalato un libro che si intitola "This book will change your life". Contrariamente a ciò che ci si potrebbe aspettare, non è un manuale di auto-aiuto, ma un libro con una grafica spettacolare che propone 365 attività, una per ogni giorno dell'anno, per la maggior parte completamente assurde, per rendere ogni giorno il primo di una nuova vita!

Se deciderò di fare sul serio cose come insegnare ad un cane a stare su una gamba sola, ritrovare la mia cotta del liceo o licenziare qualcuno del mio entourage, documenterò la cosa per voi.

Prociona on the other hand, in a package full of dinosaur stickers *_*, gave me a book called "This book will change your life". In spite of what one might expect, is not a self-help manual, but a book with spectacular graphics that offers 365 activities, one for each day of the year, for the most part completely absurd, to make every day the first of a new life!

If I decide to get serious about things like teach a dog to stand on one leg, find my high school crush or dismiss someone of my entourage, I will document the thing for you.

Bonus: un set per intagliare le zucche che mi ha regalato mia madre e che non sono riuscita a fotografare prima.

Primo giro di saldi e wishlist

Il primo giorno dei saldi ho fatto un rapido giretto per negozi e ho visto un po'di cose carine. Da Piazza Italia hanno scarpe bellissime e ho scoperto che da H&M vendono i reggiseni a triangolo che uso io a prezzi molto più bassi di quelli di Tezenis.

The first day of the sales I went for a walk around the shops and I saw some nice things. At Piazza Italia I saw beautiful shoes and I found that H&M sell the triangle bras that I use at much lower prices than those of Tezenis.

Alla fine non ho resistito a fare una mini wishlist per i saldi. Ho assolutamente bisogno di un ombrello decente. Spero di trovare qualche bello sconto in libreria perché vorrei comprare qualche libro. La maggior parte non sono per me, ma mi piacerebbe mettere le mani su qualche libretto di Beatrix Potter, cominciando da Storia d'autunno per vedere se oltre alle figure mi piacciono anche i testi. Vorrei anche un po'di fumetti.

A livello di abbigliamento desidero ancora una giacca da modificare, una o più magliette da modificare, uno smalto bordeaux e qualche animale di plastica per i miei lavoretti (ma potrei arrangiarmi con quel che ho a casa). Ma ho più probabilità di trovare quel che cerco al mercato rispetto che nei negozi.

E' una lista abbastanza limitata, ma la cosa importante è l'anti-lista: devo assolutamente evitare di comprare altro gioiellame e altri maglioni perché ne ho troppi.

In the end I could not resist doing a mini wishlist for the sales. I need a good umbrella. I hope to find some nice discounts in the bookstores because I want to buy some books. Most are not for me, but I'd like to get my hands on some of Beatrix Potter book, beginning with the one in the photos to see if, in addition to the figures I also like the texts. I would also like some comic books.

In terms of clothing I still want a jacket to alterate, one or more shirts to modify, a burgundy nail polish and some plastic animals for my crafts (but I could make do with what I have at home). But I'm more likely to find what I am looking for in the markets than that in stores.

It's a fairly limited list, but the important thing is the anti-list: I absolutely have to avoid buying more jewelry and sweaters because I have too many of them.
