Vetrata della Sagrada Familia/Sagrada Familia's stained glasses

Il posto che mi è piaciuto di più in assoluto è la Sagrada Familia. Vale assolutamente la pena anche di salire fino in cima, a patto di non soffrire di vertigini. Di Gaudì mi è piaciuta tantissimo anche Casa Batllò, invece mi ha un po'deluso Park Güell, troppa poca roba e troppa folla di turisti.
Sono anche riuscita a visitare la casa-teatro di Dalì a Figueres! Fantastica, ma molto stancante.
E per quanto riguarda l'arte vale assolutamente la pena anche il museo Mirò nonostante sia un po'fuori mano e sia decisamente più tradizionale della casa-teatro.
Valgono decisamente la pena anche la cattedrale e la chiesa di Santa Maria del Mar, entrambe in stile gotico (io adoro il gotico).
C'è anche un bellissimo museo di arte precolombiana proprio di fronte al museo Picasso.

The place I liked the most was the Sagrada Familia. Is really worth to go up on the spires too, if you don't suffer from vertigo. By Gaudì I liked a lot Casa Batllò too, but Park Güell was a bit of a delusion because there were too much people and too little to see. I visited the Dalì's teathre-house in Figuere too! Fantastic but very tiring. Talking about art is worth to visit the Mirò museum too, tough is more conventional then the teathre house and a bit out of the centre. Is really worth the cathedral and the church of Santa Maria del Mar too, both gothic (I love gothic architecture).
There is a very interesting precolombian art museum in front of the Picasso museum too.

Cibo:/Food:

Tapas, paella, sangria (not my photos)

Per quanto riguarda il cibo rapido ed economico, come sostitutivo del solito mc donalds, si trovano fast food che al posto del panino molliccio danno una signora baguette. Ci sono anche kebab e negozi di pita. Ho visto anche almeno un fast food vegetariano.
Vale la pena di provare almeno una volta la sangria, la paella e le tapas, sorta di aperitivo con una serie di piccoli piatti.
Due posti molto buoni dove ho mangiato sono:
1) Citrus (Passeig de Gràcia 44): piuttosto raffinato sia come piatti sia come ambiente, meglio vestirsi decentemente. Particolarmente adatto alle coppie. Piatti molto buoni (erano fantastici i miei ravioli di gamberi con caviale, anche se erano 4 contati), porzioni piccole, ma che riempiono (in caso il pane è gratis). Per il tipo di cibo servito i prezzi sono piuttosto buoni (diciamo sui 20-25 euro a testa). Menù anche in italiano. La nostra cameriera sapeva un italiano quasi perfetto. Probabilmente è meglio prenotare.
2) Tapa Tapa (Passeig de Gràcia 44, proprio di fianco a Cirtus e anche della stessa compagnia): assolutamente informale, quindi purtroppo anche abbastanza turistico. E' un posto di tapas. Sangria ottima. Per provare un minimo di tapas si finisce per spendere almeno 15 euro. In compenso c'è una selezione che comprende anche frutti di mare, un'ottima paella e piatti per tutti i gusti. Menù anche in italiano. Posto molto grande, anche se c'è fila di solito si trova posto abbastanza in fretta.
Attenzione: trovare un posto dove cenare a capodanno è praticamente impossibile senza prenotare e comunque risulta molto caro. Meglio pensarci con un certo anticipo oppure prendere qualcosa al fast food e fare un giro per la città, magari in centro. Tanto le temperature sono sicuramente più alte che in Italia.

As for fast and chaeap food, as a substitute of the boring mc donalds, you can find fast foods that have baguettes instead of the soft bread. There are kebab and pita shops too. I saw a vegetarian fast food too. Is worth to try at least once sangria, paella and tapas, a sort of happy hour where you eat a selection of small dishes.

Very good cooking (my gnocchi with crab filling and caviar were super yummy), small dishes, but fullig (free bread). For the type of restourant the price is good (around 20-25 euro for person). Menù in english too. Probably it's better to book, tough we didn't.
2) Tapa Tapa (Passeig de Gràcia 44, near Citrus and owned by the same company): absolutely informal, that I'm fraid means very touristic too. Is a place were you eat tapas. Very good sangria. To try a minimum of tapas you end to spending 15 euro at least. In compensation there's a very large selection of tapas that includes seafood, a delicious paella and dishes for every taste. Menù in english too. Big place, sometimes there is queque, but generally it's a quick one.
Attention: to find a place to eat on New Year's Eve is neraly impossible without booking and in any case is expensive. You better book some time forward or buy some food at a fast food and have a walk in the city by night, maybe in the centre. The temperatures in winter generally aren't so bad.

Shopping:

I souvenir non sono granchè, sebbene io sia stata affascinata da dei pacchianissimi carillon piastrellati, ma lo shopping costa meno che in Italia, anche negli stessi negozi. Si sente un po'la crisi, specie vedendo le file di persone fuori dalle ricevitorie del lotto :(
Si trova roba per tutti i gusti e tutti i prezzi. Di spagnolo ho visto grandi catene economiche, come Zara, Mango e altre meno note, negozi di Disegual e Custo Barcelona, che però si trovano ovunque. Ci sono anche negozi cinesi molto economici e negozi etnici indiani.
The souvenirs aren't so great, though I was fashinated by kitsh tiled carousels, but the same shops are cheaper than in Italy. You can feel the economical crisis, in particular looking at the long queques in front of the policy shops :( You can find stuff for all tastes and all wallets. As for spanish cheap stores you can find Zara and Mango and other less famous, and with a bigger bundget you cand go to Disegual or Custo Barcelona. But in the globalization era you can find those stores everywere. You can find very cheap chinese stores and ethnic indian stores too.
