Saldi e altre pazzie/Sales and more follies

This year I am poorer than usual, so I decided to avoid the sales. As always, however, I gave in to evil (but somehow I managed to get my mother to pay for my shopping).
Terranova was the store where I made more purchases. At last, earrings sheets were on sale againfor 1€ and I found an indian-like one that I really like.
I also found the high-waisted mustard shorts I wanted, although they are a bit short and get easily crinkled. They costed around 10€.
I also took a short black t-shirt with laces crossing on the back for 8€. It is not so cheap for a sale, but it is also a piece of clothing both basic and original, so I expect to wear it a lot, especially in summer.

At H&M I bought an ancient pink circular scarf with gold thread for 5€.

Among the things I did not buy there was a mustard-colored shirt with fringes, which was too short and did not fit well. It costed around 5€. I was also tempted by a pair of 10€ sandals and one of 6€ ballerinas I saw at Lidl, but that kind of shoes destroys my feet, so I gave up.

I absolutely wanted ice lollies molds to prepare fresh and potentially healthy snacks and I ended up buying these cute little Tiger birds for 3€. It was not really a brilliant move because they take uo a lot of space in the fridge, but they are really summery.

In Asian foodstore close to my home I finally found the artificial flavoured wafer coated peanuts I love. I ended up buying some other things: a great chrysanthemum drink (I a liking for it in China), jalapeno tabasco (excellent, I want to use it in Mexican recipes), chili oil, with which I hope to recreate Chinese recipes, and green curry, which I tried in various Vietnamese dishes and I hope to find out how to use.

Io, quando li trovo, prendo sempre i fiori di crisantemo dagli alimentari cinesi per farci l'infuso.. mi piace davvero molto!

The black t-shirt will go with a lot of things! And I like the shorts, they look really airy.

Green curry paste is easy to use - I stir fry veggies and chicken part way, then add green curry paste and coriander, fry for a couple minutes more so everything is coated, then stir in coconut milk and a bit of stock and simmer until cooked. That's my very very basic recipe for cheap-ass Thai green curry XP

Grazie!

@Edelberry: thank you for the recipe, I'll try it for sure!!!
