Real Humans (Äkta människor)

Real Humans (Äkta människor in originale) è una serie tv svedese del 2012 che per ora è composta da due stagioni da 10 episodi da un'ora ciascuna.
E' ambientata in Svezia in un futuro molto prossimo (o in un mondo alternativo) in cui robot antropomorfi estremamente realistici vivono fra gli esseri umani svolgendo ogni tipo di lavoro, da quelli più pesanti, alla cura dei bambini, alla prostituzione. Ovviamente la presenza di questi robot provoca grandi cambiamenti sociali e si formano gruppi volti alla loro eliminazione per la salvaguardia della razza umana.
Il telefilm mostra la situazione attraverso la vita di due famiglie umane e di un gruppo di robot che hanno acquistato autocoscienza grazie a un brillante scienziato. In questo modo riusciamo a seguire le vicende attraverso il punto di vista di persone, sessi, generazioni e condizioni sociali diverse.
E' difficile raccontare la trama senza fare spoiler, ma posso dirvi che è realistica e allo stesso tempo ha un buon ritmo e tiene incollati allo schermo. Contribuiscono a renderla buona i personaggi, che sono interessanti, molto credibili e ben recitati. Con l'avanzare della trama il telefilm va verso toni drammatici senza scadere nel melenso.
Durante la narrazione emergono in modo non banale le classiche domande della fantascienza a tema robot, come la possibilità di una macchina autocosciente, di un rapporto sentimentale con lei o di una sua eventuale pericolosità, che portano a temi importanti anche per la nostra vita, primo fra tutti la discriminazione.
L'ho trovato un ottimo telefilm e lo consiglio assolutamente.

Real Humans (Akta människor in the original) is a 2012 Swedish TV series, which for now consists of two seasons, with 10 1 hour long episodes each. It's set in Sweden in the very near future (or in an alternate world) where lifelike robots live among humans doing any kind of work, from the heavier ones, to the care of children, to prostitution. Obviously, the presence of these robots cause great social issues and soon appear groups aimed at their disposal for the preservation of the human race. 
The telefilm shows the situation through the life of two human families and of a group of robots who acquire awareness thanks to a brilliant scientist. In this way we can follow the events through the point of view of different people, genders, generations and social conditions. 
It's hard to describe the plot without spoilers, but I can tell you that it is realistic and at the same time has a good pace and keeps you glued to the screen. To this contribute the characters, who are interesting, believable and very well acted. With the progress of the show, the plot becomes dramatic without falling into silly. 
During the narration emerge in a non-trivial way the classic questions of robot themed sci-fi, such as the possibility of a self-aware machine, of a romantic relationship with it, or its possible dangers, which lead to issues important for our life too, first of all discrimination. 
I found it a great series and I absolutely recommend it.
