We come to the last of the shirts my father in law passed me to alterate!

I decided to stay simple seeing that of the alterated shirts I wear the most are the ones with just trimmed neck and cuffs.
But this time, after having cut off the collar and hemmed the new neckline, I gathered it by passing a wire inside it and pulling.

This is mainly to make it fit for new soft collar that I sew on it (initially I wanted to use it as a detachable collar to rotate between shirts, but having never used it I changed my mind).
In this way, however, the shirt shrank in the upper part and the shoulders, which were too loose, nowfit prefectly!

I completed everything with the application of a balloon cut from a fabric that has been lying for a long time in my stash and I finally decided to use.

What do you think? It slightly reminds me of an elementary school uniform, but I like it a lot :D
