Il posto delle fragole/Wild strawberries

Vi ricordate il mio post sulla tendenza giapponese degli orecchini (o più raramente spille) a forma di fragola o ciliegia? E vi ricordate il mio shopping creativo? Dopo aver fatto gli orecchini a ciliegia è venuto il turno delle fragole!

Do you remember my post about the japanese trend of the strawberry or cherry shaped earrings (or sometimes brooches)? And do you remeber my crafty shopping? After doing the cherry earrings is the strawberries' turn!

Difficoltà: facile (richieste capacità basiche di utilizzo delle pinze)
Difficulty: easy (basic pliers utilzation skills needed)

Occorrente: fragole finte, pinze, filo metallico, ganci da orecchini, smalto per unghie (opzionale)

Needed: fake strawberries, pliers, metallic thread, earring hooks, nail polish (optional)

Per prima cosa ho tagliato via ogni fragola in modo da avere il picciolo più lungo possibile.

First I cutted out each strawbeerry trying to keep the stems as long as I could.


Poi ho piegato il gambo...
I pleated the stem...


...ci ho infilato il gancio da orecchino e l'ho fissato in posizione usando filo metallico e pinze. Finito!
...threaded the hook and fixed the stem in the right position using the pliers and the metallic thread. Finished!


Se volete una fragola di un colore particolare basta dipingerla. Io ho usato lo smalto e mi sembra andare bene. Conviene coprire il gambo con un pezzo di scotch. Qui ho dipinto la fragola di viola/lilla, con poi un secondo strato di smalto trasparente con sbarluccichi viola.

If you want a strawberry of a different colour you can paint it. I used nail polish and it worked quite well. It's better to cover the stem with some tape before starting. Here I painted the strawberry lilac and added a second coat of nail polish with purple shimmers.


Poi ho fatto anche una fragola blu e le ho appese ad asciugare sul filo di una lampada. Ora ho una fragola normale, una viola, una blu e un'altra normale che però medito di usare come ciondolo per collana o per farmi una spilla o una molletta per capelli. Si accettano suggerimenti :D

I also did a blue one and put both to dry on a lamp's live wire. Now I have a normal srawberry, a purple one, a blue one and another normal one I'll maybe use for making a necklace, a brooch or a hairpin. I'd love your suggestions :D
