Il mio Febbraio via Instagram/My February via Instagram

Anche Febbraio è terminato, quindi rieccomi con le foto Instagram più rilevanti del mese (mi trovate come mentaconiglio)! Ammetto che verso fine mese ero un po'sfasata, per fortuna mi sono presa una settimana di vacanza!

Even February finished so here I am with the most significant photos of the month (you can find me as mentaconiglio)! I admit that I was a bit out-of-sorts towards the end of the month, luckily I took a week's vacation!

A livello di tempo a Febbraio c'è stato di tutto: sole, un accenno di primavera, i primi boccioli...e poi tempeste di neve, tanto freddo e un po'di pioggia.

In terms of weather in February there was everything: sun, a hint of spring, the first blossoms...and snowstorms, cold and some rain.

Come festività ci sono stati San Valentino, carnevale e il capodanno cinese. Ho festeggiato il primo con un pranzo al giapponese seguito da un pomeriggio di videogiochi e film e tanti regali per la mia Pelosa Metà.

Putroppo non sono riuscita a festeggiare gli altri due, però ho mangiato un bel po'di tortelli di carnevale per compensare.

As for celebrations, there were Valentine, Carnival and Chinese New Year. I celebrated the first with a Japanese lunch followed by an afternoon of games and movies, and many presents for my Hairy Half.

Unfortunately I could not celebrate the other two, but I ate quite a bit of carnival tortelli to compensate.

Questo mese sono andata al concerto degli Overness e anche al cinema a vedere Italiano Medio e Non sposate le mie figlie.

This month I went to the Overness' concert and also at the cinema to watch Italiano Medio (a film by a famous italian comedian) and Serial (Bad) Weddings.

Questo mese sono stata abbastanza creativa. Oltre ad una parentesi di amore smisurato per i cravattini, ho continuato con la fissa per i timbri, facendone altri e stampando su di una camicia e un vestito. Ho anche modificato il colletto della stessa camicia, stampato varie magliette per i miei amici e per me, fatto una gonna, modificato una maglietta e fatto dei gioielli.

This month I was pretty creative. Besides a parenthesis of boundless love for bow ties, I continued with my obsession for stamps, making more and using them to print on a blouse and a dress. I also altered the collar of the same blouse, printed several T-shirts for my friends and for me, made a skirt, altered a T-shirt and made some jewelry.

A livello di shopping sono quasi brava, soprattutto perché ho cercato di risparmiare per la vacanza sugli sci e quella a Londra. Ho giusto fatto un giretto al mercato alla fine di Gennaio e un altro alla fine di Febbraio, che per i miei standard, specie in periodo di saldi, è niente.

Il che, per fortuna non ha impedito alla gente di farmi regali! Ho ricevuto dei vecchi vestiti da mia nonna e dei mobili bellissimi e una gonna da mia suocera.

In terms of shopping, I was good enough, especially since I tried to save for the ski holiday and the trip to London. I just went to the market at the end of January and again at the end of February, which by my standards, especially during the sales period, is nothing.

Which, fortunately has not stopped people from giving me presents! I received old clothes from my grandmother and beautiful furniture and a skirt from my mother-in-law.
