Ho passato la settimana scorsa da mia nonna in Liguria.
I spent last week with my grandmother in Liguria.
E' stata una vacanza di puro relax (a parte che mi sono portata da lavorare): gli unici eventi degni di nota sono stati i fuochi d'artificio a Cogoleto per San Lorenzo, la processione di Santa Chiara ad Arenzano e Ferragosto.
It was a relaxing holiday (apart that I had to work): the only notable events were the fireworks in Cogoleto for Saint Lorenzo, the Saint Clare procession in Arenzano and the Feast of the Assumption.
Per Ferragosto siamo andati al ristorante In Sciu Ponte a Sciarborasca. Vi ho parlato di quanto buono sia questo ristorante e non posso che ribadirlo, è stata un'abbuffata goduriosissima.
For the Feast of the Assumption we went to In Sciu Ponte restaurant in Sciarborasca. I already told you how great it is and I can aonly say it anothter time. We ate a lot and all was mouthwateringly delicious.
Sto cercando di stare a dieta, ma ho assaggiato delle cose nuove: la granita alla violetta, che mi è piaciuta molto, quella alla rosa, che non mi è piaciuta granché e la focaccia alle olive taggiasche che ho trovato buona, ma pesantissima.
I'm trying to stay on a diet, but I tasted new things: violet flavoured shaved ice, which I really liked, rose flavoured one, which I did not like much and cailletier focaccia which I found good, but heavy.
