My mother asked me to fix this dress of hers that had a torn sleeve. It is made of very light cotton, so the solution that seemed more sensible to me was to turn it into a sleeveless dress.
Vista la buona riuscita dell'operazione, l'ho ripetuta sulla camicia di Massimo Dutti che avevo comprato usata a 2,50€. Dopo aver scoperto quasi subito che mancava un bottone e averlo sostituito con una bella perla di vetro sfaccettata, di recente mi sono accorta che aveva un grosso strappo sotto l'ascella, così, rosicando un po' (non l'avevo ancora messa), mi sono decisa a tagliare le maniche.
Given the success of the operation, I repeated it on the Massimo Dutti blouse I bought used for 2.50€. I discovered almost immediately that it was missing a button and I have replaced it with a nice faceted glass bead, but I recently realized that it had a big tear in the armpit, so, a bit annoyed (I had not worn it yet), I decided to cut the sleeves off.
