Vestito semplicissimo 2, la vendetta (tutorial)

Come promesso, ecco il secondo facilissimo tutorial per la realizzazione di un vestito, per cui ho usato una favolosa stoffa stampata a galli, trovata a casa di mia nonna. Trovate il primo tutorial qui.

Scusate se non ho fatto per bene le foto fase per fase, comunque è così semplice che non ce ne dovrebbe essere bisogno. Se non capite qualcosa chiedete e io provvederò a spiegare o a postare disegni della lavorazione.

Difficoltà: facile. Richieste capacità basiche di cucito o utilizzo della macchina da cucire.

As promised, here is the second easy tutorial for making a dress, for wich I used a fabric with an amazing cock pattern found at my granny's. You can find the first tutorial here.

Sorry if I did not take good step by step photos, however, it is so simple that there should be no need of them. If you do not understand something, ask and I will provide explanations or drawings to explain the making.

Difficulty: easy. Basic sewing or sewing machine utilization skills needed.

Materials: fabric, sewing material

Per prima cosa bisogna ricavare dalla stoffa due rettangoli di tessuto alti a partire dall'attacco del seno a quanto volete lungo il vestito (più un paio di cm per l'orlo) e minimo 5 cm più larghi del vostro punto di massima larghezza (fianchi, seno...). Cuciteli insieme a rovescio lungo i lati lunghi, lasciando un pezzettino scucito per poi ricavarne le maniche (quindi lascerete scucita la lunghezza di stoffa che va dall'ascella alla spalla, più 4 cm circa per l'orlo. E' meglio prendere queste misure indossando il vestito).

Orlate la parte inferiore del vestito.

First you need to draw from the fabric two rectangles as high from your bosom start to the point were you want the dress long (plus a couple of inches for the hem) and a minimum of 5 cm wider than your widest point (hips, breasts...). Sew them together the long sides on the reverse, leaving a piece unstitched to obtain the sleeves (so leave unstitched the length of cloth that goes from the armpit to the shoulder, plus around 4 cm for the hem. It'ss best to take these measures wearing the dress, as I do in the picture).

Hem the bottom of the dress.

Fare un orlo bello spesso sui due lati superiori dei rettangoli che formano il vestito, in modo che ci si possa infilare un nastro. Infilate un nastro nei due lati facendo fuoriuscire le due estremità sulla stessa spalla e legate con un fiocco (o quello che volete).

La lunghezza finale del vestito e la profondità della scollatura dipendono dalla lunghezza del nastro, che può essere regolata tramite il nodo.

Se scegliete una stoffa leggera e/o un nastro lucido, il vestito sia davanti sia dietro tenderà a scivolare verso il centro, con una forma finale a triangolo. Se l'effetto non vi piace potete cucire l'orlo superiore al nastro, perdendo però la possibilità di regolare scollo e lunghezza.

Questa tecnica è talmente semplice e veloce che ho in mente di usarla per realizzare tanti altri vestiti :D Può essere usata facilmente per fare anche top, basta fare il tutto più corto (o tirare molto il nastro!).

On the two upper sides of the rectangles that compose the dress make a nice thick hem, so that you can insert a ribbon in it. Insert a ribbon in the two sides leaving the two ends on the same shoulder and tie them in a bow (or whatever you want).

The final length of the dress and the depth of the neckline depend on the length of the tape, which can be adjusted through the knot.

If you choose a light cloth and/or a shiny ribbon, the dress front and rear, will tend to slide toward the center, with a final triangle shape. If you do not like this effect, you can sew the upper side of the dress to the tape, but in this way you'll the ability to adjust the length and neckline.

This technique is so simple and fast that I plan to use it to make many more dresses :D It can be easily used to make even tops, just doing the whole thing shorter (or pulling the ribbon much!).
