Last Friday, on the occasion of the researchers night, I and the Hairy Half went to the planetarium of Milan to hear a lecture by archeoastronomy which focused on the stars, their use and their interpretation at the time of Augustus. The planetarium is always magnificent. The conference was pretty, but too much for amateurs, I already knew most of what had been said and I am not an expert. The next conference, on the lives of astronauts in space, looked very interesting, but there was a huge queue to get in and we dropped. It was a beautiful evening, I would like events like this were held more often.
