"Zoolander 2" è un film U.S.A. del 2016, scritto, diretto e interpretato da Ben Stiller. E' il seguito di "Zoolander", film demenziale del 2001 ambientato nel mondo della moda e diventato un cult.
Anche nel mondo del modello Derek Zoolander sono passati 15 anni dalla fine delle vicende raccontate nel primo film. A seguito di un terribile incidente in cui sono rimasti coinvolti la moglie e l'amico Hansel, Zoolander ha perso la custodia del figlio e, distrutto, si è ritirato a vita privata. Ma qualcosa sta per riportarlo nel mondo della moda. Nel frattempo la sezione fashion dell'Interpol indaga sugli strani omicidi di alcuni VIP...
La storia d'azione su cui si regge il tutto è abbastanza labile, ma non si guarda un film del genere per la trama. Come il primo capitolo, anche "Zoolander 2" è scemo, scemo in modo assurdo. Ha un tipo di umorismo demenziale e acritico che non fa per tutti, ma che, fortunatamente, si rivela all'altezza di quello dell'illustre predecessore. Non tutte le gag sono incredibili, ma vale la pena di vedere il film per quelle due o tre che lo sono.

Se vi è piaciuto il primo film probabilmente vi piacerà anche questo seguito. Secondo me è l'ideale per una serata di puro relax e divertimento.
Adesso aspetto solo il capitolo 3, che probabilmente sarà fra altri 15 anni e in cui presumibilmente Derek e Hansel saranno modelli di collezioni per anziani.

Like in real life, 15 years passed also in the world of the model Derek Zoolander since the end of the story told in the first film. Following a terrible accident in which were involved his wife and his friend Hansel, Zoolander lost custody of his son and retired to private life. But something is going to bring him back to the fashion world. Meanwhile, the fashion section of Interpol investigates about the strange murders of some VIPs...
The action story is pretty weak, but you don't watch a movie like this for the plot. As the first chapter, "Zoolander 2" is really, really, really ridiculously stupid. It has a kind of zany and uncritical humor that is not for everyone, but, fortunately, it's up to that of the illustrious predecessor. Not all the gags are incredible, but it's worth watching the movie for those two or three that are.
Being italian, I found the Roman setting in which only vintage cars roamed rather amusing.
If you liked the first movie you'll probably like this too. I think it is ideal for a relaxing and fun evening.
Now I'm waiting only for chapter 3, which will probably be after other 15 years and in which Derek and Hansel will presumably be models for collections aimed to elderly people.

Ho riso come una matta, ovviamente, quindi il film ha raggiunto lo scopo. Non mi è piaciuto molto l'adattamento italiano ma pazienza, prima o poi lo riguarderò anche in lingua!
Concordo, in particolare il doppiaggio di Don Atari era tremendo.
