Prague: shopping

Prague always brings me closer to my origins, and, being a shopalcolist, I developed this feeling doing a lot of shopping in the Jewish neightbourhood, mainly related to the story of the golem. Infact I bought a themed t-shirt (240 CZK, about 10€), pin and postcard. The souvenirs for tourists are pretty much the same as nine years ago, but luckily I managed to find nice things that I hadn't bought before.
At the stalls near the Old Jewish Cemetery I also bought a necklace with a leaf pendant (100 CZK) and more importantly a necklace with a hand of Fatima pendant (240 CZK), which is a symbol I'm particularly fond of because it is common to eastern Christians, Muslims and Jews and because it is a symbol of protection linked to a strong female figure.

Ho pagato 356 CZK, circa 14€.

As I already told you, I unleashed my shopalcholic self at the Koh-I-Noor store. I bought 3 different charcoals, 18 watercolor pencils and 12 oil pastels taking advantage of the prices that were low compared to Italy. I paid 356 CZK, about 14€.

At Manufaktura, a store specialized in natural bath products, I bought two chapsticks and a soap, all made with beer. They were quite expensive (one chapstick costed about 4€), but I thought they were a perfect gift for some friends.

Finally at the airport Billa I and my Hairy Half bought some local products for us and our families: a thick sausage, long and thin sausages, chili cheese, duck pate with green pepper and waffles (we had some maple syrup that we never use at home).
The prices were not very low, but we haven't been in other supermarkets so we can not make comparisons. On the second day we visited the town carrying our luggage with us (hint: Prague is full of cobblestones, avoid trolleys in favor of backpacks if you have to make long walks), therefore we decided to buy food at the airport to avoid carrying too much weight during the day.
