Lisboa (Sara Menetti)

"Lisboa" is a book of Sara Menetti (http://www.saramenetti.it/) published by the italian collective Mammaiuto (http://www.mammaiuto.it/) for 8€.
It is an illustrated journal kept by the author when she went to Lisbon. I bought it because I liked the drawings (in Bilbolbul I also saw the originals!), the narrative style and because in the future I would like to go to Lisbon and it seemed like a nice way to find out about this city.
The colors are made with watercolours, on a base of black and coloured pen, with occasional pencil parts. The drawing style is very mixed, there are more stylized and more realistic parts. It would be worthwhile to buy this book just for the beautiful watercolour still life drawings.
The narration and the comic parts are really nice. The only aspect of "Lisboa" I was not completely satisfied of is the touristic guide one. I did not expect an actual guide and there are places to see and where to eat, but I hoped for something more. On the other hand my friends who went to Lisbon told me that it can be visited in few days, so, more than of the author, it is likely "fault" of the location (especially as the volume about Tokyo is much thicker ). Something that didn't decrease my desire to visit it, especially since it seems that nearby there are cities where to go for day trips.
The price for the number of pages seems a bit high, but it is a self-production and a high quality one, so I think it is correct and in any case it's worth it.
