Scusi, dov'è il West?/The Frisco Kid

"The Frisco Kid" It is a 1979 film directed by Robert Aldrich, best known for "The Dirty Dozen".
It is a crazy western that sees as protagonist Abraham Belinski (Gene Wilder), sent from Poland to San Francisco to become the new rabbi of the local synagogue. During the film we meet all the traditional themes of westerns, from the train robbery to the Indian attak, but also a bromance with an outlaw played by none other than Harrison Ford, who recently played Han Solo, but wasn't yet famous.
It is an old film, with ridiculous special effects (see the scene of the jump on a horse, fortunately there are very few of them) and a too innocent protagonist, but it is very well acted and never fails to amuse me, so I can not help but recommend it.
In a sense it is the Hebrew version of "Shanghai Noon" with Jackie Chan (which I reviewed here).
