"Kung Fu Panda 3" is the third film of the "Kung Fu Panda" series by Dreamworks. It was released in 2016, while the second was released in 2011 and the first in 2008. It' aUS and Chinese co-production.
In this chapter the panda Po finds himself to be a teacher, meets his biological father and rediscovers his origins and face a new even more powerful villain.
In terms of storyline we have, as in the first film, a villain without a particularly credible motivation, but who allows the protagonist, and some of the characters that surround him, to evolve further. The gags are funny and can be appreciated even by adults. I was only sorry that the romantic side of the story, of which there had been some clue in the first films, has not been developed, because the saga seems to have come to an end. In fact it lacks the scene after the credits, that was present in the first two films, and for the first time appeared the word "end". Besides, in "Kung Fu Panda 3" the main character reaches such a level of power that it would be difficult to make a credible fourth film. Of course I could be wrong, as in 2010 Dreamworks' CEO talked of a saga composed by six films.
Visually, I think this one the most beautiful chapter, with a winning mix of 3D and 2D inspired both by pop posters and traditional Chinese art.
I also found the soundtrack by Hans Zimmer wonderful.
In short, if you loved the first two movies this is an ending you can't miss.

Forse a me è piaciuto tanto perché invece al terzo seguito mi aspettavo molto poco.
