Jiro dreams of sushi

Jiro Dreams of Sushi is a U.S.A. documentary filmed in 2011 by David Gelb. It lasts 81 minutes and follows the life of Jiro Ono, internationally recognized as a master in the art of preparing sushi, and of his sons, sushi chefs who live in the shadow of their father.
The music of Philiph Glass masterfully accompany the images. I was expecting a documentary like this would make me feel hungry, however sushi is not the real protagonist, but the sushiman are and in particular Jiro, who has always put first in his life the perfecting of his art. I found it beautiful and interesting, but also a bit distressing, the characters are what they are because they had important family traumas.
