Operazione borsa sicura: aggiungere la cerniera ad una borsa (usandone due)/Safe bag operation: to add a zipper to bag (using two)

Do you remember the Merlot bag I bought in Harajuku during my trip to Japan? Unfortunately it has a flaw for the use in Italy that does no give credit to our country: it is an open bag and therefore easy to pick pocket. As I have been robbed at least three times, I'd rather not risk it.

Obviously I'm not going to give up using my new beautiful bag, so I decided to fix it by adding a zipper. Obviously I hadn't a zipper of the right length at home and I didn't want to go to a haberdashery, a little because lately I have little free time, a little because I'm trying to restrain from shopping possible to recover from my Japanese craze.
So I decided to try to use two zippers opening towards the two sides of the bag.

The experiment worked! To add security, I added a third zipper on the inside pocket. Now I am ready to carry my beary bag even on the 90 (themost infamous bus of Milan) at rush hour!
