Ritornano le gyaru abbronzatissime? Secondo il blog di streetfashion Tokyofashion.com, ci sono le premesse per dei cambiamenti molto forti nella cultura gyaru, che negli ultimi anni è stata relegata in secondo piano dall'ascesa dello stile legato al quartiere Harajuku, a Tokyo (il gyaru invece ha il suo centro nel quartiere di Shibuya) e ha privilegiato tendenze più conservatrici, prima fra tutte quella della pelle chiara (shiro gyaru). Di sicuro un ritorno delle gyaru dalla pelle scura è quello che si auspica il gruppo Black Diamond, fondato proprio da membri di questa subcultura per promuovere la sua espansione.
Ma attenzione, questa tendenza non è un ritorno dello stile manba, sembra che le kuro gyaru moderne abbiano caratteristiche diverse, in primo luogo l'amore per la marca D.I.A. e uno stile più sexy.
Vedremo come andrà. Io onestamente non amo molto questo stile, specie se alla pelle scura vengono abbinati un trucco chiarissimo e capelli che sembrano parrucche. Sono per un effetto più naturale, ma è ovvio che non è quello che cercano le kuro gyaru. Voi cosa ne pensate?

Mi auguro sia un falso allarme! Le trovo proprio brutte, così come le ragazze italiane che si fanno così tante lampade da diventare arancioni. Ti farò sapere se mi capita di vederne in giro!
Lo stile sexy in generale mi sembra vada abbastanza comunque, addirittura mi è capitato spesso di vedere ragazze in minigonna e stivali con tacco a spillo in luoghi impervi come il Fushimi Inari... non so come facciano!
Onestamente anch'io la penso così, anche se pure l'ossessione per la pelle chiarissima mi lascia perplessa. Grazie per il trendwatching ^^

Interesting to read. I also don't really like the mamba style with all the white make-up on a dark tanned skin. I prefer shiro gyaru I guess! Anyways, I'm curious to see what will be the new trend!
Mah, questo stile non mi dice niente. Da lontano fanno effetto (le foto sono molto belle e influenzano un po' il giudizio) ma viste da vicino sono inquietanti.

I've never been able to understand why gyaru is so popular...I really don't like it ^^;;
@Rihannon: I don't think that mori girls can easily like gyary as they have opposite aesthetic ideals: natural VS. artificial, not sexually connoted VS. sexy and so on. But I also think some gyaru items would look really good in a mori outfit.
