"Arthur Christmas" is a 2011 animated film, co-produced by Aardman Animations and Sony Pictures Animation.
The film takes place during Christmas night. Santa Claus delivers the gifts with the help of hyper  technological gadgets and an army of elves that look like special soldiers, all coordinated by his eldest son Steve. At the end of this grand operation, however, it's find that a gift wasn't delivered. In the indifference of the other members of the family, it's up to Arthur, the clumsy and fearful youngest son of Santa Claus, with the help of the more than hundred years olf Grandpa Claus and of a wrapper elf, to embark on a crazy mission to try to save the Christmas of the forgotten child.
In general, the films about Christmas spirit have a high coefficient of mushiness, but I found this one very nice because it focuses mainly on the dynamics of Santa Claus' family, composed by different characters, all well characterized, and because it has many nice gags.

Lo trovai simpatico all'epoca.
