Artigiano in Fiera 2015 (shopping)

Taking advantage of the holydays (in Milan the 7th and 8th of December are non working days), on Tuesday I went to Milan's Artisan Fair, that gather handmade products from all over the world. I was able to tour it all and as usual, I liked it a lot and I got really tired.

Era tutto molto carino come sempre, molto simile agli scorsi anni. E ovviamente ho adorato i vari cibi tipici regionali.

It was all very nice as always, very similar to the previous years. I particularly noticed the fragrant lavender bears, the Ester Bijoux  jewels and the nerd T-shirts that were a new product. And of course I loved the various typical regional foods.

What I enjoyed most of the visit was the food, as always! In addition to the many tastes offered by the stands, I ate my beloved croque baguettte in the French section (5€), I tasted the good and abundant tartiflette of the Hairy Half, a dish from Val d' Aosta made of potatoes, onions, wine, cheese and bacon (5€ ), and I took a yummy coconut sorbet from Madagascar (2€).

As for my purchases, I finished to buy all the Christmas gifts, but I didn't buy a lot for me. In the French department the Hairy Half and I have bought four salami, one with figs, one with duck, one with walnuts and one with olives (for a total of 10€). In Germany we took a smoked sausage for 1€, in Emilia handmade tortellini at Re Tortollino (they were making them before our eyes) for 5 € per 250g. In Sardinia we bought mint culurgiones at  Artinpasta (5 € per package) and mullet bottarga.
Then I bought two things just for me, the gorgonzola truffle by Rufozola (100g for 3 €) and Calabrese nduja, a hot salami paste (I chose a small 3€ jar).
I bpught few non edible things. I bought a Darth Vader Christmas ball for our tree at Wishloot, a stand of nerd t-shirts where I bought a lot of gifts. In India I could not resist the cheap jewelry and I bought a pair of earrings and a necklace with a star pendant for a total of 2€.
