Jeans da buttare-->jeans hippie/Rubbish jeans-->hippie jeans

Difficoltà: facile (richieste capacità basiche di cucito)
Difficulty: easy (basic sewing skills needed)

Materials: old jeans, fabric scraps, sewing material

I bought these jeans some year ago to go to a party, because they were tight and had sparkles. With the passing of time they lost the sparkles and the tightness and lastly there appeared a hole in the worst part, on the interior part of the thigh.

So, before having the idea of using a patch of coloured fabric to make it glimpse from the hole, I did an internal patch made of yeans (I have lots of jeans scaraps from all the jeans I cut).

Here's the outer result. Still, the trousers were plain and shabby so I decided to alterate them more.

So, inspired by Zipper and by Pimkie's new collection (the jeans that inspired me have the same shape of mine too), I decided to sew patches made of fabric scraps on the front. I didn't do hems or anything and I sewed them with a shabby string, both because I'm quite lazy and because the finished broduct doesn't have any claim of elegance. So it also took few time.

Avete suggerimenti?

Here is the result, that leaves space to new adds. I ended up using nearly all the season's patterns: floral, gingham and ethnic XD
Did you notice the patch with lemons, a scrap from the skirt with lemons? I still have a not too big piece of the fabric but I don't know what to make with it. Any suggestion?

Grazie ^^
