Ci sono due International Lolita Day all'anno, uno il primo sabato di dicembre e uno il primo sabato di giugno, per permettere alle lolite di tutto il mondo di vestirsi sia invernali sia estive in quel determinato giorno. L'iniziativa pare sia nata sulla comunità EGL.
I PROPOSITI DEL GIORNO INTERNAZIONALE DELLA LOLITA SONO:
1. Informare il mondo su cosa sia la moda lolita.
2. Avere un giorno speciale per vestirsi lolita.
3. Incontrare altre lolite nella propria zona
4. Fare fotografie e registrare i cambiamenti della moda lolita attorno al mondo.

The 4th of December is International Lolita Day.
In the year there are two international lolita day, one is the first saturday of december and one the first saturday of June to let lolitas of all the word dress up both in winter and in summer style. The idea of ILD was probably born on the EGL community.
THE PURPOSE OF LOLIDAY IS TO:
1. Educate the world on what Japan's gothloli and lolita fashions are all about.
2. Have a special day just for dressing up in lolita, and nothing more.
3. Meet other lolies in our area.
4. Keep photoalbums of and record the progress of lolita fashion around the world.
