La prima serie di "Orange is the new black", la serie televisiva U.S.A. tratta dalle memorie di Piper Kerman "Orange Is the New Black: My Year in a Women's Prison" mi aveva affascinato (trovate la mia recensione qui), per cui non mi sono lasciata scappare la seconda. E' sempre composta da 13 episodi di lunghezza compresa fra i 50 e i 60 minuti, più un'ultima puntata da 90 minuti.
Ho trovato questa serie assolutamente al livello della prima. Si possono tranquillamente vedere di seguito senza che si notino salti fastidiosi come succede in altri casi. Fortunatamente mantiene il riuscitissimo equilibrio fra comicità e dramma che era la caratteristica più interessante di questo telefilm.
Il punto di forza di Orange sono i personaggi incredibilmente umani nel panorama telefilmico di stereotipi hollywoodiani. E fortunatamente continuano i flashback, sia su Piper sia sulle altre detenute, che permettono di approfondirli. Oltre ad essere a tutto tondo, i personaggi di Orange sono in continua evoluzione. Per esempio, dopo la chiusura esplosiva della prima serie, Piper diventa più dura, più stronza e più adatta al mondo violento della prigione. Vengono introdotti nuovi personaggi e i vecchi vengono approfonditi ulteriormente. Il personaggio più negativo di questa serie è finalmente malvagio senza la giustificazione di orrendi traumi infantili: a volte un personaggio cattivo per il gusto di esserlo ci vuole.
Ci sono colpi di scena mozzafiato, dati anche dalla gestione magistrale degli imprevisti, che sono talmente assurdi o realistici da essere sempre inaspettati e che possono sconvolgere in un secondo piani perfetti architettati per mesi o diventare piccoli miracoli.
Il finale mi è piaciuto moltissimo, ma evidentemente c'è spazio per una terza serie che pare sia già in cantiere. Non vedo l'ora di vederla.

It again consists of 13 episodes of a lenght between 50 and 60 minutes, plus a final episode of 90 minutes.
I found this series absolutely at the level of the first. It can safely be watched right after it without the annoying noticeable differences that can be found in other cases. Fortunately it keeps the successful balance between comedy and drama that was the most interesting feature of this show.
The strength of Orange is in the incredibly human characters when most tv series are based on Hollywood stereotypes. And fortunately continue the flashbacks, both on Piper and on the other inmates, which allow to deepen them. In addition to being well-rounded, Orange's characters are constantly changing. For example, after the explosive ending of the first series, Piper becomes harder, meaner and best suited to the violent world of prison. There are new characters and the old are further deepened. The most negative character in this series is finally evil without the justification of horrendous childhood trauma: sometimes I like someone who's bad because he likes it.
There are stunning twists, even because of the masterful management of contingencies, which are so absurd or realistic that are always unexpected and that can upset in a second a perfect idea planned for months or become small miracles.
I loved the ending, but obviously there is room for a third series that seems to be already in the pipeline. I can not wait to watch it.

io questa serie la adoro! la apprezzo molto perchè è imprevedibile, inoltre mi piace la scelta degli attori, sono persone normali e non i soliti mega fighi che si vedono in certi telefilm
@Chiave: concordo, a volte la figaggine della gente è davvero assurda, per esempio in epoche e situazioni dove non ha senso che abbiano tutti i denti e così via.
Di questa serie mi piacerebbe leggere il libro, ma prima vorrei aspettare la fine per evitare spoiler.
