Promod, spring collection (floral, ehtnic and loliable) + trends

Andando a controllare l'infame costo della paglietta di Promod (17€ circa), non ho resistito e mi sono guardata tutto il sito, anche se purtroppo io da Promod entro solo durante i saldi pur adorandolo perchè è fuori dal mio budget. Intanto prendo appunti su quello che mi piace...
Una bella novità è che finalmente hanno fatto il sito in italiano!!!
Gli stili di punta sono floreale e hippie chic, ma in realtà ci sono anche molti pezzi riciclabili nel lolita. Inoltre come fenomeno generale ho notato che quest'anno etnico e floreale-romantico si vedono anche mischiati, spesso nello stesso capo.

Going to Promod's site to check the infamous price of their boater hat (around 17 €), I couldn't resist and I looked all the site. Though I love it, I shop at Promod's only during the sales because it's out of my budget, so it was a sort of a note taking for the sales too.
The top styles are floral and ethnic, but there's also a lot of loliable stuff. As a general trend I noticed that this year ethnic and floral-romantic are also mixed, often in the some piece of clothing.

La maggior parte delle maglie ha sbuffi, trine e fiocchi, quindi risulta riciclabile come cutsew nel lolita. Continua la fissazione Promodiana per gli elastici sul fondo delle maglie, che sono un vero danno per chi ha i fianchi larghi come me (gli elastici tendono a risalire!).

Most shirts are full of puffs, bows and lace, so they're perfect to be used as cutsews in lolita.
Promod's obsession with elastics in the lower part of the shirts continues, a thing very annoyng for people with large hips like me (the elastic goes up!).

Per quanto riguarda gonne e vestiti ormai la lunghezza al ginocchio è affermata, specialmente da Promod che non punta ad una fascia d'età particolarmente gggiovane. Io ho l'impressione che essendo bassa la mini mi slanci di più, quindi la cosa non mi entusiasma. Gli abiti della nuova collezione non mi convincono, mentre le tuniche meritano davvero.

Knee lenght is an extabilished trend for skirts and dresses, specially at Promod that doesn't aim mainly at a young public. I think miniskirts flatter me more as I'm a shortie. The new collection's dresses aren't so great, but the tunics are amazing.

Sia su abiti sia su cardigan, coprispalle e gilet va forte il traforato, un'ottima soluzione per il caldo-ma-non-troppo e per dare un effetto pizzo.
Il cappotto di stagione è anche da Promod una versione leggera del trench classico.

On dresses, cardigans and vests openwork is big, a good solution for warm-but-not-so-much and to give a lace effect.
The season's coat is a lighter version of the classic trench at Promod's too.

Da Promod non ce ne sono praticamente, ma nel resto del mondo gli harem pants stanno tornando, dopo il successo della scorsa estate. Io li adoro! Stanno tornando anche da Promod i jeans a zampa d'elefante (per ora moderata) e a vita -più- alta.
Gli shorts più visti sono quelli beige-marrone con risvolto, un po'da esploratore.
Le scarpe che vanno di più sono i sandali, alti o bassi, ma pieni di lacci.

Harem pants, after last summer's success, are trendy this summer too (I adore 'em). Not at promod's, though.
Bell bottom jeans are having a huge comeback.
The trendiest shorts at Promod's are the explorer beige shorts with turnups.
And the hottest shoes are sandals with a lot of straps, high or flat.

Le borse vanno sulla pelle marrone e i cappelli sulla paglia, inoltre ci sono un sacco di gioielli etnici come da tendenza. Ma non mancano gioielli che sembrano creati apposta per il lolita, con temi classici come la giostra dei cavallini e gli uccelli in gabbia.

The bags are in brown leather and the hats are made of straw, plus there are lots of ethnic jewels as fashion dictates. But there are also jewels with classical lolita themes like carousel and caged birds.
