Non lasciare che il vento lo porti via/Don't let it blow in the wind

L'idea di attaccare un paio di pettinini a un cappello per non farlo volare via al minimo alito di vento non è nè molto complicata nè molto originale. Non ho messo quasi mai la mia paglietta perchè volava via ad ogni alito di vento. Dopo avere letto che Violet aveva aggiunto dei pettinini alla sua per tenerla ferma ho deciso di copiare l'idea.
Ho realizzato questa semplice modifica durante il kreativ party che ho fatto questa domenica.

The idea of sewing a pair of combs to a hat to prevent it from blowing away in windy days is not difficult nor particularly original. I nearly never wore my boater hat because it blowed away really easily. After reading that Violet added combs to hers for the same motivation I decided to imitate her good idea.
I made this simple addiction during this Sunday's crafty party.

Difficoltà: molto facile (richieste capacità basiche di cucito)

Il difficile è trovare pettinini semplici pensati per essere decorati o cuciti a qualcosa. Invece di fare la fatica di andare in merceria e spendere magari miliardi, ho comprato in un tutto a 1 euro dietro casa un ez comb (sì, ho scoperto che gli arnesi della foto si chiamano così), ho tagliato via la parte a perline in mezzo (conservando le perline per usi futuri) e così per 1,50 euro ho ottenuto due pettinini.

The difficult thing is to find siple combs, sold for being decorated or sewn to something. Instead of going to an haberdashery and maybe spending a lot of money I bought an az comb (if you don't know what I'm talking about look at the photo above) in a all 1 euro shop (actually I paid it 1, 50) an I cut away the beaded part, keeping the beads for future uses. So I got two perfect combs.

Dopodichè li ho cuciti alla fascia di stoffa interna al cappello. La posizione dei pettinini andrebbe studiata in relazione alla posizione delle orecchie e della comodità. Se si ha intenzione di usare il cappello con una parte anteriore e una posteriore definite consiglio di piazzare i pettinini più verso la parte posteriore.

After that, I sewed the combs to the internal fabric band of the hat. The combs better position should be thought considering the position of the ears of the hat owner and the general cosiness. The best thing, If you're ok with having a definite back and front of the hat, is to put the combs a bit towards the back.
