My Hairy Half went to Manchester recently. I asked him for a little present and him, after giving me some misterious clue, gave me these fabric stripes and asked me to guess what it was. Obviously I didn't...

The real present come in a cardboard house with a small door and window :D

Vi presento דוב深川

A karateka bear with black belt like me!!!
I'm proud to introduce דוב深川 (Kuma Dov Fukazawa, that means "bear" in japanese, "bear" in hebrew, and the surname of a great karatè wado ryu master who died not a lot of time ago).
And the best thing is that he was made by my boyfriend!!! *_____*

http://www.buildabear.com/

The cool shop in Manchester where he bought him, was a Build-a-Bear shop. Build-a-Bear is a company with shops in all the word, even though unfortunately there isn't in Italy (IIIIIIII want to open the first shop here!!! It's my dream job!!!). Anyway there's an internet shop too:
http://www.buildabear.com/
This company offers you to choose first the animal (there aren't only bears, but bunnies, owls and even Hello Kitty...), then to choose the fur, the stuffing (how soft and full the plushie will be), and obviously the dress. If you buy the stuffed animal in a physical shop you can even "make it" putting the parts in a machine and using a pedal and some buttons! And it doesn't end here: every plushie has a heart, chosen by the customer. The Hairy Half isn't sure about it because the instructions were in english, but it seems that it's even a moth killer. Kuma has a checkered white and red heart!
You can build the perfect stuffed animal for every occasion! As themes there are graduation, Xmas,
Hannukkà, Star Wars, a lot of jobs and so on!
And every bought plushie has a special code that you can use for sign it free in an online game with him as a character (I didn't it yet, so I don't know how it is)!
I'm looking forward to "casually" go in a foreign Build-a-Bear shop and buy lots of accessories for Kuma *___*
