A pair & a spare: a great blog for tutorials and so on

A pair & a spare is a blog by Geneva Vanderzeil, an Australian girl who moved to London, and who has a studio in Hong Kong. She's one of those bloggers capable and/or lucky enough to have turned this activity into a job.
I had already met several of her tutorials on Pinterest, but I really discovered her only recently, when I arrived on her blog and I browsed all the creative part to try to find a dress remake that I found without a real link. It was a revelation. I found tons of simple, but effective tutorials, all trendy, both sewing from scratch and restyling of clothes. And if restyling tutorials often are frustrating because as beautiful they can be, you can not find a similar base piece of clothing to alterate, she uses mainly easy to find second hand clothes. Yes second hand because, although she is a successful blogger who travels a lot, participates to festivals and events (and therefore supposedly has good incomes) she doesn't put on airs and you can get many items of her wardrobe with a budget accessible to most people.
So in summary, on her blog you can find easy, cheap and trendy projects. You will also find much more, video, travel and lifestyle, projects for home, style inspirations and so on, but I admit that I read just a little bit of rest and then snubbed all in favor of clothes and accessories tutorial.
In this post I linked my favorites, the ones I'd like to make my way before or after. In particular, I'd love to save with an application upholstery fabric one of those German army jackets that was given to me me in my punk period (I'm very fond of it because it's the present of a friend of mine from high school, I never wore it behind shec wrote the -very cultured- prayer to Satan by Baudelaire on the back and I always felt a little uncomfortable with it), recycle the blanket that I bought in Mexico (and in spite of myself I never used), transforming it into a skirt as she does or in a top, turn an used ugly dress intp a trendy cutout one (maybe the daisies dress). Plus I could follow her example by transforming an old silk cloth that I don't know how to use in a kimono and adding pom pom trim (which never hurts) to a pair of shorts and/or to a bikini.
In short, a morning spent leafing through her blog filled me with ideas that I can not wait to realize and I don't see how a creative blog could have a better effect!
