Come tanti altri nerd appassionati della saga aspettavo con ansia l'uscita di "Star Wars: Il risveglio della forza", il nuovo capitolo della saga diretto, co-scritto e co-prodotto da J. J. Abrams dopo l'acquisizione della Lucasfilm da parte della Disney.
Per prepararmi al grande evento ho fatto una maratona di tutti i film precedenti con i miei amici (ovviamente con la pettinatura giusta).
Like so many other nerdy fans of the saga, I eagerly awaited the release of "Star Wars: the Force Awakens", the new chapter of the saga directed, co-wrote and co-produced by JJ Abrams after Lucasfilm was bought by Disney.
To prepare for the big event I did a marathon of all the previous films with my friends (of course with the right hairstyle).
Sabato finalmente sono andata a vedere il nuovo film. Visto che ci sono in giro tantissimi spoiler (si parla di colpi di scena rivelati in tv, su facebook e così via) e che ho dovuto fare i salti mortali per evitarli, ho pensato che, essendo il film uscito da pochissimo, fosse più carino verso chi ancora non è andato a vederlo scrivere una recensione senza spoiler. Per forza di cose sarà una recensione corta e incompleta. In più, consiglio lo stesso di non leggerla a chi odia anche il minimo vaghissimo accenno di anticipazione (non si sa mai).
Secondo me questo nuovo capitolo è molto migliore dei prequel alla trilogia originale perché ritorna allo spirito dei primi film. Si ha davvero la sensazione di vedere Star Wars. Questo pregio però si trasforma anche nel difetto peggiore del film, ovvero una trama poco originale e troppo simile a quella del capitolo IV. Anche l'autocitazionismo è eccessivo, ad un livello che talvolta sconfina nella stupidità.
I colpi di scena sono tutti abbastanza prevedibili, ma carini, però sulle loro tempistiche si sarebbe potuto fare di meglio.
Fra i nuovi personaggi principali solo la ragazza e il pilota bucano lo schermo, il trooper e il cattivo hanno poca personalità e in qualche caso danno anche un'impressione di sbagliato, nonostante la recitazione sia molto buona.
Dal punto di vista estetico, l'ho trovato un film fatto molto bene sia per quanto riguarda la fotografia, i panorami e le scene epiche, sia per i piccoli particolari, come gli oggetti rovinati dall'uso quotidiano. C'era della cgi brutta, anche su di un personaggio importante (il che è molto fastidioso), ma in generale il mio parere in proposito è assolutamente positivo. Anche le musiche erano molto belle.
Complessivamente, "Star Wars: Il risveglio della forza" mi è piaciuto, seppur con le riserve che vi ho detto. Visto che il primo capitolo è così simile alla trilogia originale, secondo me il successo di questa nuova saga dipenderà dalla capacità del secondo capitolo di conservare lo spirito autentico, ma proporre una trama non scontata. Sono molto curiosa di vedere come andrà avanti. I prossimi capitoli della nuova trilogia usciranno nel 2017 e nel 2019, ma pare che nel 2016 e nel 2018 usciranno degli spin-off, il primo su di un gruppo di piloti della Resistenza, e il secondo sulla giovinezza di Han Solo. Si parla anche di ulteriori film su Boba Fett e Obi Wan Kenobi.
On saturday finally went to watch the new film. Since there are many spoilers around (something like twists revealed in TV, on facebook and so on) and I had to jump through hoops to avoid them, I thought that since the movie came out very recently, it may be nicer towards who still didn't watch it to write a review without spoilers. Inevitably it will be short and incomplete. Plus, I suggest anyway not to read it to people who hate the faintest hint of anticipation.
In my opinion this new chapter is much better than the prequel of the original trilogy because it returns to the spirit of the first movies. You really have the feeling of watching Star Wars. This quality, however, becomes the worst flaw of the film too, that is a banal plot, too similar to that of Chapter IV. Even the self-quoting is excessive, to a level that sometimes borders towards stupidity.
The twists and turns are fairly predictable, but nice, however their timing could have been done better.
Among the new main characters only the girl and the pilot pierce the screen, the trooper and the antagonist have little personality and in some cases even give the wrong impression, despite the good acting.
From the aesthetic point of view, I found it a great movie both for the photography, landscapes and epic scenes, and for the small details, like the objects worn out by daily use. There was some bad CGI, also on a major character (which is very annoying), but in general my opinion about this aspect is absolutely positive. The music was beautiful.
Overall, I liked "Star Wars: The awakening of force", albeit the problems that I said. As the first chapter is so similar to the original trilogy, I think the success of this new saga will depend on the capacity of the second chapter to preserve the authentic spirit, but propose an original plot. I am very curious to see how it will go on. The next chapters of the new trilogy will be released in 2017 and 2019, but it seems that in 2016 and 2018 will be released two spin-offs, the first about a group of pilots of the rebellion, and the second about Han Solo's youth. There are also rumors about more films about Boba Fett and Obi Wan Kenobi.
