Il peloso matrimonio dinosauro/Our Hairy Dinosaur Wedding

On May 20th, I and my Hairy Half got married.
Since I got the beautiful official photos by Valeria Farinella (almost all of this posts) and Bi (the one with the roof), retouched by Valeria, I decided to share with you some fragments of that special day.

Ci siamo sposati in comune.

We got married in a municipality hall. Milan has a number of halls, we chose Villa Scheibler because in the days we wanted there was only it or Cascina Turro that I had already seen and it was less nice.
The weddings at the Villa are celebrated in a small desecrated church with a couple of statues and some fragments of frescoes, next to the actual palace.

My mother-in-law, for the rings exchange, sewed us a beautiful dinosaur pillow.

At the end of the ceremony, after being throwed confetti, petals and soap bubbles (the traditional rice seemed me a waste of food, though more biodegradable), we took some photos in the beautiful park behind the villa.

Poi siamo andati a pranzare.

Then we went to lunch. After so much wandering, we chose Cascina Guzzafame for the reception. During the organization there was some small disguises, but in general we liked it a lot and the wedding day was perfect.

The food was awesome, or at least so the guests said: for once I almost haven't tasted it...

Non potevano mancare le bomboniere e la confettata (che ho fatto con confetti a vari gusti presi all'Outlet Dolciario di Corso Buoenos Aires, a Milano, e scatoline di Tiger, con bigliettini fatti da me su carta perlata di Paper & People).

Of course there were the traditional candy box full of sugared almonds an more to take freely (I made the boxes with sugared almonds of various flavors bought at Corso Buoenos Buenos Aires Sweets Outlet, in Milan, and boxes bought at Tiger, with notes made by me and printed on Paper & People's pearly paper).

When I threw the bouquet... it went on the roof! And I always had bad grades in physical education!

On the cake (a millefoglie with red fruits) we had the statues by Lele (a sort of Lego wannabe) of the Tirannosaurus and of the Indominus Rex of Jurassic World, that I dressed like groom and bride.

My brother-in-law for the occasion printed a beautiful background with a prehistoric image, with a wooden scaffolding and hidden Wally to find, in front of which to take photos.
After cutting the cake we turned on the music, I wore my super cool Jurassic World tyrannosaurus costume and the party started.

Congratulations! It's so lovely to see you did everything the way you wanted to, and the dinosaur theme is really cool.

@Cat: thank you! To tell the truth it was a bit different from what I wanted, but luckily I'm really satisfied of the compromise I ended up with.
