X-Men: Apocalypse

"X-Men: Apocalypse" è un film del 2016 diretto da Bryan Singer e sceneggiato da Simon Kinberg. E' il seguito di "X-Men: Giorni di un futuro passato", che a sua volta veniva dopo "X-Men: L'inizio", e conclude la trilogia che funge da prequel dei primi tre film dedicati ai mutanti dei fumetti Marvel ("X-Men", "X-Men 2", "X-Men: Conflitto finale").
 In questo capitolo, un antichissimo e potentissimo mutante risorge per distruggere il mondo e ricostruirlo a sua immagine. Incontriamo Fenice, Ciclope, Tempesta e Nightcrawler da giovani, Wolverine viene inserito a forza in una breve scena perché attira pubblico, a Magneto capitano nuove terribili tragedie e Quicksilver è sempre il più figo.
La Bolla ha recensito questo film talmente bene che potrei linkarvi la sua recensione e basta. Eppure a lei in linea di massima non è piaciuto e a me in linea di massima sì, quindi ho deciso di dire la mia.
Pro di questo film: un sacco di azione ed esplosioni, attori molto bravi (e molti anche belli), battutine sagaci,ambientazione anni '80, accenni di storie d'ammmore.
Contro: il terribile doppiaggio italiano degli accenti stranieri (veramente inascoltabile), il trucco e parrucco di Apocalypse, Nightcrawler, ma anche un po' di Mystica, ma soprattutto la mancanza di introspezione psicologica.
In realtà quando ho detto "X-men" e "introspezione psicologica" nella stessa frase, il mio fidanzato è scoppiato a ridere. Posso dargli ragione perché i film dedicati a questi personaggi sono costituiti principalmente da combattimenti ed esplosioni senza troppi perché, però gli ultimi film Marvel ci hanno insegnato che a livello di sceneggiatura si può fare di più perfino con personaggi con meno potenzialità. Questo per quanto riguarda "i buoni", troppi e troppo poco approfonditi, ma soprattutto per "i cattivi" e in particolare Apocalypse, che è veramente privo di sfumature e motivazioni. Non posso fare a meno di pensare che avrebbe potuto essere un personaggio interessantissimo (ma sarà che ho un debole per l'antico Egitto).
Nonostante tutto l'ho trovato un film che scorre bene, con la giusta dose di esplosioni e risate. Si sarebbe potuto fare di più, ma anche molto meno.

 In this chapter, an ancient and powerful mutant rises again to destroy the world and rebuild it in his own image. We meet Phoenix, Cyclops, Storm and Nightcrawler when they were young, Wolverine is forcibly inserted in a brief scene because he attracts public, other terrible tragedies happen to Magneto and Quicksilver is always the coolest.
Pros of this movie: lots of action and explosions, very good (and beautiful/handsome) actors, witty jokes, 80s setting , hints of love stories.
Cons: Apocalypse, Nightcrawler, but also Mystica's make up, but especially the lack of psychological insight.
To tell the truth when I said "X-Men" and "psychological introspection" in the same sentence, my boyfriend burst out laughing. He may be right as the films dedicated to these characters consist mainly of fights and explosions without many explanations, but the latest Marvel films taught us that it can be done better even with with characters with less potential. This for the "good guys", too many and with too little depth, but above all for the "bad guys", and in particular for Apocalypse, who is really lacking in motivations. I can not help but think that he could have been a really interesting character (but maybe it's because I have a soft spot for ancient Egypt).
Despite everything, I found it a movie that flows well, with the right amount of explosions and laughs. It could have been much better, but also much worse.
